This mindset is hindering your healing
Adopting a victim mindset by claiming to have tried everything for chronic back pain is a significant barrier to actual healing. It's unrealistic to have exhausted all possible treatments, including various medications, surgeries, and alternative therapies. This mindset fosters a belief that one is beyond help, which can hinder recovery. Acknowledging this can be challenging and may provoke strong reactions, but it's crucial for overcoming the obstacles to healing.

Delaying with Orthobiologics
Переглядів 186День тому
When exploring the orthobiologic space, it's important to understand what your goals are and how different therapies can impact the disease state. While there is no evidence to suggest that taking certain peptides or supplements can delay the progression of knee osteoarthritis, high quality PRP and stem cell therapy have shown promising results in halting or delaying disease progression. If you...
Injectable Peptide PSA

When deciding to use injectable peptides, it's important to keep in mind that research chemical websites may not provide sterile products and could contain contaminants or impurities. Long-term healing from chronic pain comes from this
Переглядів 1,1 тис.2 місяці тому
When dealing with chronic pain, it's important to remember that true healing lies in the consistent daily actions you take, rather than one-off treatments like surgery or injections. While these may be helpful in the short-term, focusing on habits that support a healthy environment for healing is key in the long-term. This includes prioritizing sleep, nutrition, hydration, movement, exercise, s...
Imaging Does Not Show Your Pain
Переглядів 6502 місяці тому
When trying to determine the cause of your pain, it's important to understand that imaging only shows structures that may be potentially causing you pain, not necessarily what is actually causing it. It's important to have a physical assessment with someone skilled in this area to determine what structures are actually causing your pain, as degenerative disc disease on an MRI may not be the act...
Subcutaneous Peptide Injection
Переглядів 2,3 тис.2 місяці тому
When you inject peptides like BPC 157 over the area of pain, it does not directly go to the area of tissue damage initially. The medication is absorbed by the blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue and distributed throughout the body. Therefore, there is no difference between injecting in the abdomen versus over the area of pain when we talk about how the peptide gets to the damaged tissue. T...
Imaging and Chronic Pain

The #1 Reason PRP Injection Don't Work

If you have received PRP or stem cell therapy for pain and it has not worked, it may be due to misdiagnosis. It is possible that the pain generator was not properly identified and treated. No Improvement After Cortisone Injection

If you're still experiencing pain after receiving a corticosteroid injection, it's possible that you were misdiagnosed. Relying too heavily on imaging results can often lead to this. This could be due to an injury to the SI joint, which is not always visible...
The Physical Exam For Chronic Joint Pain

Is it contraindicated to drink tea or any caffeine product after taking oral bpc? I would wait if it was ok, but seems that the caffeine of the product could affect the acid, the absorption, etc.

The most common starting dose we use with patients is 500mcg, once per day on an empty stomach. The time of day doesn't really matter in our opinion. We normally have patients take BPC-157 for at least a month to determine if they see improvements, but sometimes it takes longer to see effects as tissue healing takes time. We then have patients continue on the BPC-157 for several months, and then we might trial taking them off to see if their symptoms remained improved or if they regress. If they regress, we put them back on it.

There are a wide variety of approaches that could be helpful, but the most important thing is to figure out the root cause, and then treat the root cause. This is where a personalized approach is necessary, as there are too many variable for me to tell you how to treat something without me knowing the root cause

Thanks for the encouragement. When i was diagnosed with DDD, a Spondylo, and something else, I was sent to an Advanced Pain Clinic. The Dr was going to inject whatever it is and get rid of the pain. The MRI looked ugly. I heard from the Dr, Pain Relief, and not Healing, so I walked out on the spot. God provided an Inversion Table. I had never seen one before, but instantly I saw decompression. I studied months online Chiropractors. One particular Chiropractor spoke freely about Decompression, but, he did not give out the important little details. I watched all his podcasts, and finally, he slipped up and gave what I needed to use the table effectively. In particular it was the angle for L5 S1. Which also allowed me to learn the angles of the other Lumbars. ( I'm a layman and had to educate myself) Over vertical, with a rope to pull me away from the table to the correct angle, then a large exercise ball to roll in behind my back and I could let go the rope and hang at the proper angle. I could also push on the hinge points to increase the decompression. Several times a day and up to 45 minutes a day. Several months later I was pain free. I must do maintenence of course. The Dr and Clinician said I would not improve. That was in the early 2000's. In my research, I came across a 1976 Chiropractors paper that after 10 minutes vertical inversion, the discs would double in size, I guess from hydration. He had taken Xray's. That gave me a little guidance also. Of course I did more than that. Every tidbit I could find on line I used. I'm going through a trial right now. I need to remember the lessons i learned back then. Go Forward Don't Give Up Encourage Others (((Note, if you are over vertical, gravity will not let you swallow your spittle. It will follow gravity into your sinuses, painful. So I have a spit cup to use. Bring a book to read or use your smart phone to watch educational UA-cam while you hang to pass the time))) (((Safety Note: be sure you know how to use the Table. You do not want your feet to slip out and then fall on your head and injure your Cervicals, bad juu juu)]) (((I also keep my cell phone with me in case I get stuck so I can call for help (I live alone))) (((A good quality Inversion Table is needed. Do Not go cheap, or it may fail after use. I use a Tweeter Inversion Table))) 👍

So much wrong with this...BPC is never about 100$. Ive been on and off it for 8 years and its doubled in price but not 100$, you are getting ripped off. Goto Peptide sciences, the bast stuff out there and the most expensive and its under 100$. A vial does not last 2 months. It comes in 5 mg vials and you daily does is 400 - 1000 Mg. You split that dosage 2 or 3 times daily. FYI the injectable is WAY more efficacious, unless you are taking it for digestive issues. This whole clip is a set up to over charge you and under dose you.

I have recently take KPV peptide and it helped my back pain. Last night my cat was attacked by a coyote and a barely saved her in time. She's pretty hurt and she can barely stand or walk. I was thinking about buying her a 1 5mg vial of thymosin beta 4 peptide to kick start the healing process and hope it helps her heal. The only thing is i don't know the dosage to give her? She is an adult cat and i think she's a little under 10lbs so she's skinny. I already have the 100 unit syringes and the bacterial static water. Any help would be much appreciated or any recommendations for other healing peptide would be good. Thank you so very much.

STOP using peptides from research chemical websites that are not for human consumption. You've most likely been dosed with endotoxins from bacteria. So if you're still injecting it, first thing to do is stop. Next is to stay hydrated and sleep as much as you can. Take some vitamin C, and let your body deal with it. If you need medical attention, go get it.

So nice to see someone who knows what they are talking about. My issue is a bilateral burning sensation around the upper buttock, superior Cluneal nerve areas on the skin after sitting. I had this slightly for some time but would adjust my seating position so that that area would not come into contact with what ever I was sitting on and it would then be manageable. However after getting a new and very hard sofa it flared real bad to the point I was having a constant burning of the skin like a sunburn. Now though after not sitting or driving for 3 weeks the burning has lessoned quite a lot. I have to say also around this time I was doing a lot of stretching for my prostatitis/cpps which I think might of made it worse as the nerve may have been inflamed. All scans confirm no other problems with my back Can I ask in your expert opinion Dr, can conservative treatment like not sitting help heal the nerve? Thank you for reading

    • @DrewTimmermansND

Conservative treatment can be helpful yes, but if it's not significantly improved or gone with 6 weeks of conservative treatment, you need to do something stronger such as PRP nerve hydrodissection
